Maleny Long Lunch will support Youturn and raise vital funds for mental health programs to support young and vulnerable people on the Sunshine Coast.

 

Youturn is a not-for-profit charity that was started over 30 years ago to help address youth homelessness.  Since then, Youturn has grown substantially working with vulnerable people and those that support them, expanding their focus to include Child Safety, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and of course Homelessness.  Working now at locations right across Southeast Queensland, last year Youturn supported almost 10,000 vulnerable people.

 

Most young and vulnerable people reach out to Youturn in times of intense crisis or emotional distress, seeking our understanding and compassion. Youturn staff provide non-judgmental, individualised support in their times of need to live a healthy and meaningful life.
